Volleyball Recap: Bishop Carroll Huskies vs. Bishop McCort Crushers

Bishop Carroll can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bishop McCort Crushers. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crushers, too.

Bishop Carroll was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 12-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-10.

Leading Bishop Carroll to victory were Samantha Buynack and Greta Krumenacker. Buynack had 13 digs, while Krumenacker had two aces and 36 assists. Krumenacker is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
