Baseball Recap: New York Mills Triumphs

Sebeka typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday New York Mills proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Trojans. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Trojans on May 7th, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for New York Mills and bumps their season record up to 10-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Sebeka, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-3.

New York Mills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-5 victory against Frazee on the 28th. As for Sebeka, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale on the 28th.
