After a string of six wins, Schoharie's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Galway Golden Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Storm have suffered since September 26, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-20.

Schoharie's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Galway, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Schoharie will face off against rival Cobleskill-Richmondville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Galway is set to square off against their familiar foe Johnstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
