Greendale had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-5 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Martin Luther Spartans. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Martin Luther, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2. They haven't had much luck with Greendale recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

For Martin Luther's part, Tino Pozos made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Looking ahead, Greendale will take on Nicolet at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Martin Luther, they will face off against St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
