Football Game Preview: Crow Creek vs. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will challenge Crow Creek on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 16-47 walloping at Vermillion's hands. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte got a solid performance out of senior Dylan Mound, who rushed for 55 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. In fact, with 11 tackles Mound was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Crow Creek took a serious blow against Little Wound last Friday, falling 0-51.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte took the game and then some with a 56-12 victory the last time the two teams met over Crow Creek. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte since the team won't have home-field advantage.
