Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Takes a Loss

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels.

While Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Rilee Schutz paced Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense, picking up ten kills. Schutz got some help from Klaire Pohl and her 18 assists. Lauryn Ruda controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Medicine Valley on the 2nd. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Doniphan-Trumbull on the 2nd.
