Soccer Recap: Newark Valley Comes Up Short

The matchup between Newark Valley and Southern Cayuga on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cardinals lost 8-0 to the Chiefs. If Newark Valley were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Southern Cayuga when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newark Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southern Cayuga, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
