Volleyball Recap: Lawrence-Nelson's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deshler, Lawrence-Nelson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wallace Wildcats. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Brynn Harrison paced Lawrence-Nelson's offense, picking up ten kills. Harrison got some help from Maddy Laughlin and her 11 assists. Codi Cannaday and Kali Cassell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Lawrence-Nelson's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Wallace, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Lawrence-Nelson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin on the 13th. As for Wallace, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] on the 13th.
