Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mira Mesa). They claimed a resounding 54-26 win over the Lincoln Hornets. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Marauders considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Mira Mesa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Philippa Liu and Yari Bailey. Liu got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mira Mesa pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games. As for Lincoln, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.
