Baseball Game Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Arundel Wildcats

Annapolis hasn't had much luck against Arundel recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Wildcats at 4:45 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Annapolis challenged Chesapeake on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Annapolis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cormac LaRouche, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arundel). Everything went their way against Meade on Tuesday as they made off with a 32-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Arundel now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Annapolis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
