Basketball Recap: Onaway Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Onaway kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 67-39 defeat at the hands of the Cheboygan Chiefs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since January 15th.

The win (which was Cheboygan's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Onaway will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Pellston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cheboygan, they will square off against Kingsley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
