Football Game Preview: U-32 vs. Otter Valley

On Friday U-32 take on Otter Valley at 7:00 PM. U-32 will be hoping to build upon the 47-14 win they picked up against Otter Valley the last time they played.

U-32's and Spaulding's game last Saturday was close at halftime, but U-32 turned on the heat in the second half. U-32 took their match against Spaulding by a conclusive 44-21 score. U-32 were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Otter Valley were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against Mt. Abraham. Otter Valley lost to Mt. Abraham by a decisive 18-36 margin. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Otter Valley.

U-32's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Otter Valley's loss dropped them down to 1-2. In their win, U-32 relied heavily on senior Andrew Proteau, who rushed for 146 yards and 4 touchdowns. Otter Valley will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
