Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 66-52 bruising from the Sheboygan Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 57-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Sheboygan Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will venture away from home to face off against Hilbert at 5:50 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian is facing Hilbert at the right time seeing as Hilbert is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Sheboygan Christian, they will head out to square off against Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy at 5:45 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
