Soccer Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

Berry was the 2-1 winner over Palisades when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Pumas by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Berry has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Palisades, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berry will host South Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palisades, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palisades' defense better be ready for this one: Myers Park have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
