Recap: Terry Bulldogs vs. Raymond Rangers
The Terry Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Raymond 60-41. Given Terry's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Raymond is ranked 211th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Terry found their leader in underclassman Madison Jones, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and six blocks. Jones is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Elisiah Branson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Terry's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Raymond, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Terry's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pearl River Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Raymond, they will challenge Battle Ground Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
