Baseball Recap: Chatham Central Comes Up Short

Chatham Central came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northwood Chargers, falling 8-2. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Chatham Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Albright, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Chatham Central's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Northwood, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Chatham Central will face off against North Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwood, they will challenge Glenn at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
