Baseball Recap: Foundation Academy Has No Trouble Against Ocoee

Foundation Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7, 2025 (when they won 15-0). Everything went their way against the Ocoee Knights as they made off with a 15-2 victory. Considering the Lions have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lucas Hall and Bryce Parker dominated on the mound. Hall pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Parker pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Parker has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Liam Lee was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ethan Pate was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Foundation Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Foundation Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-8. As for Ocoee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11.

Coming up, Foundation Academy will head out to face off against Edgewater at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocoee, they will host Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
