Marian Catholic and Bloom are an even 2-2-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Spartans will welcome the Blazing Trojan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Marian Catholic is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. Everything went their way against Richards on Monday as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Nyla Williams was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Bloom had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They never let the Raptors get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Bloom, who have now won ten games by four goals or more so far this season.

Bloom pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight contests. As for Marian Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14-1.

Marian Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Bloom in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazing Trojan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
