Ionia waltzed into their match on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 12-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Colt Piercefield, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaven Elvert, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Ionia pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
