Baseball Recap: Furr Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Furr waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Scarborough Spartans get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Brahmans this season.

Furr pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Scarborough, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Furr will face off against Wheatley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Furr is facing Wheatley at the right time seeing as Wheatley is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Scarborough will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Forest at 7:00 p.m. on April 25th.
