Basketball Recap: Stevens Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Stevens hadn't done well against Conant recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Stevens Cardinals walked away with a 47-38 win over the Conant Orioles. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Orioles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 36-35 loss.

Stevens has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Conant, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Stevens Cardinals duke it out with the Fall Mountain Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fall Mountain's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Stevens' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Conant, they will face off against Monadnock at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monadnock will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Conant surely won't give up without a fight.
