Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Grace Savarese and Peyton Recinos Lead Flintridge Sacred Heart to Victory

Flintridge Sacred Heart's tournament run continued when they took on Birmingham on Friday. The Tologs came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0.

Leading Flintridge Sacred Heart to victory were Peyton Recinos and Grace Savarese. Recinos had 12 digs and three assists, while Savarese had five aces. Those three assists gave Recinos a new career-high. Isabelle Basa also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Flintridge Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Birmingham, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Flintridge Sacred Heart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against El Camino Real on the 20th.
