Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Marley Seelye and Anna Mccombe + How To Watch

Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Acalanes Dons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Berean Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.

Anna McCombe and Marley Seelye certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. McCombe had 12 assists and seven digs, while Seelye had eight digs, six kills, and one block. Seelye is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last four games she's played. Ari Rosselli also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Acalanes, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
