Football Recap: Harvest Community Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bishop Snyder + How To Watch

Harvest Community kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 22-14 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals. The Warriors have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Although Harvest Community took the loss, they still got scores from Andrew Posey and Tristan Dailey.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 3.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Caleb Ith for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Snyder to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brecken Wright, who rushed for 41 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 145 yards and one TD on only ten passes. Another player making a difference was Matthew Biroshik, who picked up 88 receiving yards and one score.

Harvest Community will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Bishop Snyder, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-20 defeat against Stanton on the 22nd.
