Volleyball Recap: Forest Lake Academy Takes a Loss

Forest Lake Academy lost against Poinciana Christian Preparatory back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Poinciana Christian Preparatory scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Forest Lake Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ethan Hazen had 16 digs and three assists.

Forest Lake Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Poinciana Christian Preparatory, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Forest Lake Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Orlando Science on the 2nd. As for Poinciana Christian Preparatory, they are taking a road trip to square off against Celebration at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
