Basketball Recap: Wauzeka-Steuben Drops Season-High Score on Potosi/Cassville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wauzeka-Steuben). They put the hurt on Potosi/Cassville with a sharp 78-58 victory on Friday. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Wauzeka-Steuben, bringing their record for this year to 16-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Potosi/Cassville, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wauzeka-Steuben will face off against Viroqua at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Potosi/Cassville, they are taking a road trip to take on Platteville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
