Volleyball Recap: Snohomish Comes Up Short

Snohomish was the 3-0 winner over Everett when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Seagulls by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ava Urbanozo was a one-woman wrecking crew For Everett. as she had 20 digs, two aces, and one block. With that strong performance, Urbanozo is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game.

Snohomish's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Everett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Snohomish is set to challenge their familiar foe Shorewood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Everett will face off against rival Marysville-Pilchuck at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
