Volleyball Recap: Veterans Memorial Find Success

Veterans Memorial picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They came out on top against the Harper Longhorns by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Veterans Memorial took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Ariana DeLeon paced Veterans Memorial's offense, picking up four kills. DeLeon got some help from Gia Moscot and her seven assists. Peyton Simpson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Veterans Memorial's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Harper, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Veterans Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fox Tech on the 21st. As for Harper, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Devine on the 21st.
