Softball Recap: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Marysville Bulldogs
Nemaha Central had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 5-5 to make it five. They fell just short of the Marysville Bulldogs by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Tuesday.
As for Marysville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since May 16, 2024.
For Marysville's part, Aubrey Dressman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Dressman has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Ketter, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
As of now, neither Nemaha Central nor Marysville have any future games scheduled.
