Volleyball Game Preview: Poly Parrots vs. Verdugo Hills Dons

The Poly Parrots will head out to face off against the Verdugo Hills Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Poly is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Poly saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Mendez.

Meanwhile, Verdugo Hills came up short against Arleta on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 25-13.

Poly will need to focus on slowing down Lauren Brink, one of several Verdugo Hills players who made an impact when they last played. She had 24 digs. Brink has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Evans, who had 24 digs.

Verdugo Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
