Baseball Game Preview: Lemoore Tigers vs. Dinuba Emperors

The Lemoore Tigers will take on the Dinuba Emperors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Lemoore's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Dinuba has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Lemoore came up short against Mission Oak and fell 5-2.

Lemoore saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Kinter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Clinton Rhew also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Dinuba lost 7-1 to Sanger West on Saturday.

Lemoore's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Dinuba, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Lemoore was able to grind out a solid victory over Dinuba when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 6-3. Does Lemoore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dinuba turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
