Volleyball Recap: Westwood Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Westwood challenged Kerens on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three games in a row.

Audrey Calzada paced Westwood's offense, picking up 13 kills. Calzada got some help from Lyla Huddleston and her 26 assists. Finally, Calzada was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Kerens, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Brook Hill on the 26th. Kerens has also already played their next contest (against Frost), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
