Florence hadn't done well against Lanier recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles snuck past the Bulldogs with a 52-46 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Lanier, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
