John Glenn had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Maysville Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Little Muskies also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

John Glenn never let Maysville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-10.

John Glenn's offense was headlined by Brynli Cavezza and Blair Briggs, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Cecilee Perkins and her 14 assists. Sophie Emerson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

John Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Maysville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. John Glenn is set to challenge their familiar foe River View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maysville will take on rival West Muskingum at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
