Volleyball Recap: Clear Spring Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Clear Spring waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Boonsboro Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Blazers have posted against the Warriors since November 7, 2016.

Clear Spring never let Boonsboro on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 27-25.

Kaisy Custer paced Clear Spring's offense, picking up 11 kills. Custer got some help from Malea Shingleton and her 23 assists. Olivia Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clear Spring's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Boonsboro, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3.

Coming up, Clear Spring will head out to challenge Catoctin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Boonsboro, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Middletown on the 25th.
