Soccer Recap: Belton Comes Up Short

Belton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chaparral Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Chaparral, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Belton duke it out with Waco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waco will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Belton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chaparral, they will venture away from home to face off against Ellison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
