Basketball Recap: Sesser-Valier Takes a Loss

Sesser-Valier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The match between them and the Webber Trojans didn't end well, with the Sesser-Valier Red Devils falling 71-53. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Trojans are ranked 161st).

Sesser-Valier's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Webber, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Sesser-Valier will take on Vienna on Tuesday. As for Webber, they will head out on the road to take on Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
