It was a good run, but Badin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roger Bacon Spartans. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Badin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-12, 26-24.

Alex Weigand was nothing short of spectacular for Roger Bacon: he had 27 assists and eight digs. Weigand has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

Badin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Roger Bacon, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Badin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roger Bacon, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Archbishop McNicholas on the 6th.
