Sacred Heart Academy had won 13 straight road games dating back to last season and JJ Kirck did her part to make it 14 on Friday. The Sharks blew past the Wilbur Cross Governors 3-0 for which the team can thank Kirck, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Sacred Heart Academy never let Wilbur Cross on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-23.

Sacred Heart Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Wilbur Cross, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
