Basketball Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss

Spotsylvania lost against King George back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spotsylvania Knights took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King George Foxes. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 17 in a row.

Spotsylvania's record is now 1-17. As for King George, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spotsylvania will head out to take on Courtland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spotsylvania is facing Courtland at the right time seeing as Courtland is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for King George, they will venture away from home to challenge James Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. James Monroe will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something King George surely won't give up without a fight.
