Soccer Recap: Eastern Starts Season with Win Against Charlotte + How To Watch

Eastern took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They never let the Charlotte Orioles get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Eastern have beaten Charlotte the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Charlotte has come to flipping the script.

This is the second loss in a row for Charlotte and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charlotte, they will square off against Portland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Charlotte their first taste of in-conference action this season.
