Football Recap: North Cobb Christian's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

North Cobb Christian was the 24-17 winner over Sonoraville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 47-45 on Friday. The close contest was extra heartbreaking for the Eagles, who almost overcame a 23 point deficit.

Despite the loss, North Cobb Christian still got an impressive performance from Cooper Bazarsky, who rushed for 175 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Bazarsky was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.

Sonoraville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Cruz out in front who rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Cruz has posted since back in September of 2024. Chaz Pate was another key player, throwing for 262 yards and three TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Cobb Christian fell to 3-1. As for Sonoraville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
