Orofino lost against Grangeville last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Maniacs took  a  19-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Maniacs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
  Rilee Diffin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  RBI the last four times she's  played.  Livia Johnson was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
Orofino's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Grangeville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
 Looking ahead, Orofino will face off against Centennial at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Grangeville, they will venture away from home to  challenge Priest River  at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
