Van Buren entered their tilt with Pandora-Gilboa on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rockets 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Black Knights, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Van Buren's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Buren will square off against Allen East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Black Knights 2.6, the Mustangs 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will venture away from home to square off against Ottoville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Big Green have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
