Volleyball Recap: Central Mountain Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Central Mountain won the last time they faced Bald Eagle Area and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

Central Mountain was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-27, 25-18, 25-14.

Bald Eagle Area lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Casey Angellotti, who had 39 assists and 11 digs. Another player making a difference was Nora Eppley, who had ten digs and four assists.

Central Mountain's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Bald Eagle Area, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2-1.

Looking ahead, Central Mountain will host Central Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bald Eagle Area, they will welcome Tyrone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
