Villa Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Okaw Valley 49-15 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Cerro Gordo/Bement can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-35 victory over Blue Ridge.

Cerro Gordo/Bement's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Villa Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.

Things could have been worse for Villa Grove, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-28 loss to Cerro Gordo/Bement when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Villa Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
