Baseball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Life Christian Academy's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Life Christian Academy let Saint John Paul the Great Catholic stack five runs on them in the seventh inning on Thursday but luckily Life Christian Academy prevailed anyway. The Eagles walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Wolves.

JJ Jimenez tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brandon Dorin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. Connor Radcliff was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
