Baseball Recap: Navajo Pine Takes a Loss

Navajo Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Jemez Valley Warrior, falling 11-1. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Warrior from their previous meeting back in May of 2018.

Navajo Pine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richard Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Davis has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Navajo Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Jemez Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warrior beat Navajo Pine by a score of 21-3 later that day.
