Basketball Game Preview: Culver City Centaurs vs. Beverly Hills Normans

Culver City is 2-8 against Beverly Hills since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Culver City Centaurs will face off against the Beverly Hills Normans at 6:30 p.m. Culver City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Beverly Hills likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Culver City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 80-74 to Inglewood.

Meanwhile, Beverly Hills suffered their closest loss since January 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Santa Monica by a score of 43-41. The defeat continues a trend for the Normans in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Culver City's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-3. As for Beverly Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Culver City didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Beverly Hills in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 75-71 victory.
