Volleyball Recap: Carbon Extends Winning Streak to Four

Carbon waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wasatch Academy Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dinos also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Carbon never let Wasatch Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-23.

Carter Warburton paced Carbon's offense, picking up eight kills. Warburton got some help from Connor Gleave and his eight assists. Grant Mathis controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Carbon's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Wasatch Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Carbon will head out to square off against Juan Diego Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wasatch Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salt Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
